Program objectives: The overall objective of this program is to gain a clear understanding of the SCORE program, recognize how the program can help SMEs and how change can lead to improved organization performance.

Organized by: Bangladesh Employers Federation (BEF)

Venue: Conference hall of MCCI, Chamber building, 122-124 Motijheel, Dhaka-1000.

Program duration: 11- 16 July 2015 and 13- 26 August 2015 (16 Days)

Course content:

  • Introduction to SCORE program
  • SCORE Training materials
  • How to conduct a baseline survey
  • Module content review and assigning TOE session for trainers
  • Enterprise visit
  • Trainer prepare baseline assessment
  • Review baseline visit and business assessment
  • Sensitization on gender equality and adult learning methods
  • Review of EIPs for complied by trainers
  • Individuals trainers prepare their work plan and list of questions
  • After action plan review for enterprise visit and review EIT, EVI, EIC etc
  • How to proceed enterprise visit
  • Evaluate the trainers

During the discussions, the resource person addressed the entire questions raised by the participants. Participants shared their views and practical knowledge during the training session. Participant’s interaction was meaningful.

Resource person: Lead trainer Mr. Jayanta Ranjan De Silva, Global trainer SCORE, Geneva, Italy and Mr. Francis De Silva, Global master trainer SCORE, Geneva (Tourism), Bangladesh, South Africa and Kenya, with significant and varied experience in Industry Skill Council.

Implemented Enterprises: Total 04 numbers of selected enterprises implemented SCORE program where 02 lead trainer and 01 coordinator facilitating. BEF playing coordination role in ongoing SCORE implementation. These are the following enterprises

2. Brothers Furniture Limited

3. Rani Food Industry Limited

4. Royal Park Residence

Conclusion: In conclusion, Participants expressed their positive feedback that they would make some contributions at their workplaces by using gathered knowledge.
